Area Assembly Click for Materials (UserID required)	The Area Assembly is the business meeting where the groups send their representatives to express a voice and vote on behalf of the group. Excerpt from the “Al-Anon and Alateen Groups at Work” section of the Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual (P‑24/27).
Area World Service Committee (AWSC) Click for Materials (UserID required)	In between Assemblies, Area World Service Committee (AWSC) meetings are held, attended by the Assembly officers, all District Representatives and Al-Anon Information Service Liaisons, and the Area Coordinators of special services. At these meetings, the Assembly agenda is planned, information and reports are conveyed, and decisions may be made that cannot wait until the next Assembly. Policy Committee Click for Materials (UserID required)	The Policy Committee meets prior to most AWSC meetings. It is comprised of: Delegate, Alternate Delegate/Forum Coordinator, Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Alateen Coordinator and Active Past Delegates. The Policy Committee addresses current policy and items that could become policy.
